CLUB ACTIVITIES

AKK is a figure skating club in Stockholm that is actively involved in single skating, ice dancing and synchronized skating at various levels. We welcome both children and adult skaters alike. Indeed we are proud of the fact that we provide an outlet for adults skaters who want to take up or rediscover the joys of figure skating. Currently around 44% of our skaters are adults. Our oldest member is 85 years old and still skating!

The club also has competitive skating for children. During the years our members have competed at various levels both nationally and internationally. Various different levels of instruction are available and there should be something for everyone, whether they be complete beginner or competition skater.

Several of the adult members of the club have been actively involved in synchronized skating. They have skated in a team named Grand Diamonds, which has competed three times in the Swedish National Team Skating Championships and is to a large extent composed of adult skaters from AKK. The club has also had a junior synchronized skating team.
